The Ultimate Law of Attraction: Alignment and EnlightenmentIn the latest episode of my podcast, Living Enlightened, we dive into the depths of the Law of Attraction. Over the years, exploring various spiritual traditions, I have come to a profound understanding of this universal law. I share it in my book, Living Enlightened—The Joy of Integrating Spirit, Mind, and Body, and I’ll share the highlights with you now, as it is unfolding in my life.Seeking Alignment: Like Attracts LikeSimply, the Law of Attraction teaches us that like attracts like. Just as magnets are drawn to their corresponding poles, our vibrational frequency attracts similar energies. Scientists have recognized that our thoughts are energy and carry vibrations, and we constantly attract experiences that match our vibrational state. It’s not just about our thoughts or words; true power comes from the feeling-tone we carry within us. Our feelings play a significant role in shaping our vibrational energy, and therefore what we attract into our lives. It’s not about what we want, but how we are being. We Get What We AreJesus’ teaching in Matthew (6:25-34) speaks to this profound truth. He reminds us not to be anxious and not to focus on lack and limitation. Instead, we are encouraged to seek first the kingdom of heaven and righteousness. This is not about a physical place in the sky but a state of consciousness available to us right now. The kingdom of heaven, or enlightenment, is our natural state of being, our alignment with God and good, and our recognition of infinite possibility. And ‘his righteousness’ speaks to our ability to align our thinking with right thinking, or alignment.Discipline of the Mind and RighteousnessTo enter this state of alignment, Buddha advises us to discipline and control our minds, and all virtue and wisdom will follow. Marianne Williamson emphasizes that enlightenment is the key to everything, as it reflects our true authenticity—becoming our authentic Self. Righteousness, often misunderstood as judgmental or self-righteousness, refers to right thinking, a state of harmony and flow with Universal principles. Seeking righteousness means aligning with Love, the ultimate guiding force. When we align with our true Nature, all that we need for our unique expression unfolds effortlessly.Being, Not WantingWe remember that we do not receive what we want, but rather what we are. If we vibrate with the energy of wanting or not having, we attract more of the same. Jesus’ statement about those who have and those who have not takes on a new dimension. It points not to material possessions but to the feeling of having. When we recognize and appreciate even the smallest blessings in our lives, we open ourselves to attracting more abundance. And when we are in a state of lack, or not having—that is what we get more of.Seek First the Kingdom, All Else Will FollowThe true power of the law of attraction lies in seeking first the alignment with our true Nature. It is not about seeking external factors like relationships, wealth, or success. Instead, we turn our attention inward and seek alignment with our Divine Nature. Then, we naturally attract the experiences, relationships, and resources that support our authentic expression. Seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all else will be added to you.Alignment and EnlightenmentThe Ultimate Law of Attraction is about seeking alignment and enlightenment. It teaches us that our vibrational state, shaped by our thoughts, feelings, and beingness, determines what we attract into our lives. By seeking alignment with our true Nature, represented by the kingdom of heaven, we effortlessly manifest our highest good. Disciplining our minds and embracing right thinking, allows us to tap into the infinite possibilities available to us.So, let’s remember to seek first our alignment with the Divine and watch as the Universe responds in kind, bringing forth all that we need for our authentic expression.
